Word Journey
Word Journey is a show designed to help Christians have a successful life journey based on the Word of God. Our approach is that we take topical issues and look at them from Christian perspective. A new episode is released every Sunday morning and it's our desire that God uses each episode to bring correction and instruction in godliness to everyone who encounters it until Christ is fully formed in all of us.
Word Alive Podcast
The Word of God is so powerful that it is able to energise our body and environment to produce what it says. However, many Christians miss out on the treasures of the Word of God because they fail to pay attention. With Word Alive podcast, Ven Ogbonna avails you the opportunity to have a 10-15 minutes daily infusion of the word of God that empowers you to live a victorious life.
Illuminated Verses
Many times when we read the Bible, we hardly read in context. The implication is that the we lose out on many of the sense in the whole passage. On Illuminated Verses, Ven Ogbonna takes the scriptures highlight as many lessons as God has granted him understanding from any passage or account of the scriptures with the view to helping Christians have a better walk with God.
Meet Ven Ogbonna
Venerable Iheanyichukwu Ogbonna is a servant of God who believes that as Christ is elevated, live are liberated to live. Ven Ogbonna is extending the reach of the sound gospel of Christ through his weekly Word Journey programme, Word Alive podcast and Ven Ogbonna Blog. Ven Ogbonna believes that the gospel was not just given to reconcile men to God, but to liberate men from the oppression of Satan. It’s his heart’s desire that as long as God gives him life and breath, he will be a ready instrument in His hands for liberating men from the shackles of the devil by elevating Christ and His power for a total turnaround in their lives.
Hiding the Word in Your Heart
The Psalmist declared, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” Psa 119:11NIV This statement shows a measure taken by “the man after God’s heart” to ensure he doesn’t sin against God. He didn’t just wish to be pleasing to God, he took practical steps to make it a reality. This commitment is striking to anyone who cares about being pleasing to God and that’s why in this second part of the series, Being Built Up with the Word, we are beaming our searchlight on how to hide the word of God in our hearts.
